Construction data tier estimate
Put in headcount, projects and years of records; the estimate returns the buyers whose posted entry rules you clear and each one's stated range. No price is computed, since no buyer discloses a formula.
Run the estimate#
Not an offerSource of every figure: the buyer's own posted range and minimums, checked 2026-11-07; no formula of ours is applied. These ranges are no offer: signed construction-data deals can land well below them.
What are the published floors and ranges?#
| Buyer | Min. staff | Years | Published range |
|---|---|---|---|
| micro1 | 30+ | Not published | Headline $100K–3M+; tiers $100K–500K, $500K–3M, $3M+ |
| Nyne | 20+ | 3+ in business | $100K+ is the common size, per Nyne; varies with data type and volume |
| Labelbox | Not published | Not published | From about $50K (small, targeted sets) to $1M+ (large enterprise deals); fee at signing, then revenue share |
| Scale AI | 40+ | Not published | $10K–$1M+, which Scale labels illustrative and not guaranteed; rises with delivery cadence |
Paid-referral notice: a listed buyer may pay this site if one of our introductions ends in a signed license. Rows are sorted by published pay floor; fees play no part in order or wording.
How do micro1's three tiers differ?#
| Tier | micro1's description |
|---|---|
| $100K–500K | Entry tier for enterprise partners that qualify |
| $500K–3M | Big operational datasets, or several teams contributing over time |
| $3M+ | Rare operational data no one else holds |
The tiers turn on scale and how unusual the data is, not on headcount alone. A contractor's records would be assessed by micro1; this site cannot place you in a tier.
How does the estimate work?#
- Headcount is compared with each buyer's published minimum. Scale AI's 40 is a preferred start assessed case by case, so below it reads "case by case".
- Years of records stand in for Nyne's "three years in business" rule; check your actual years trading.
- Projects per year times years gives a rough count of closed projects on record. It does not change any range.
- Every company is assumed to be US-based, mainly English-language and the owner of the records it would license.
Questions#
How much is construction data worth?
Nobody posts a construction-specific price. For company records in general, posted ranges climb from $100K (micro1, Nyne) to micro1’s $3M+ tier; Scale AI’s $10K–$1M+ is marked illustrative. Real license fees frequently come in well under these.
Why does the estimate not give one number?
No buyer discloses a pricing formula, so a single number would be made up. The tool sticks to what is posted: entry rules you clear and each buyer’s stated range.
Do projects per year change the result?
Not the published ranges. They give a rough count of closed projects on record, which tells you how deep your records are when you talk to a buyer.
What counts as an employee?
Definitions vary by buyer: full-time staff (micro1), full-time US W-2 staff (Nyne), plain employees (Scale AI). Labor-broker crews do not count toward any of them.
